This is a quality nozzle. It has several different settings which actually work. Especially useful is the shower and mist settings, you can actually water your delicate plants without hurting them. It also stays on until you resqueeze the trigger, cool.

When I brought this nozzle home the other day, Mrs. Spudman rolled her eyes at me. She does that a lot. I go through hoze nozzles like some people go through disposable contact lenses. Seldom does one last me more than a couple years. I either lose them, leave them outside all winter with bad results, or drop them once too often. The fact that I've had at least three of these Nelson nozzles shows how much I like them.

When the nozzle goes bad, either the on/off button fails or the nozzle leaks on certain settings.

The Good:

Comfortable grip
Turns on and off with a twitch of the trigger finger
A control in the rear adjusts the spray's force
The threads that screw onto the hose are made of metal
Easy switch settings - flat, shower, soaker, bucket filler, rinse, power wash, and mist

And:
The force of the power wash depends on your water pressure. For me with the well water, it's Ok but not spectacular.
The nozzle is made in China, as was the hose and the hose reel.

I certainly like this nozzle and the choice of sprays. In fact I can almost guarantee I'll buy another one either next year or the year after.

This is the best nozzle we've ever had. It's easy to put on and to function. Lots of settings to choose from as well.

Bought this based on the good reviews. I cannot agree with them. A cheap piece of work that does not work at all well and in one setting (soaker) does not work at all. It is also more restrictive of flow than my old nozzle leading to weaker streams of water with less reach in the garden. I will continue my search for a decent and well made garden nozzle.

Have had this style nozzle before and really like it. It is easy to use and offers many choices of spray types.
Unable to find locally, so needed to purchase on line.
