I have created this blog as a space to document my findings and help others who like me, are researching to build a greenhouse at home.   Here you will find some awesome Greenhouse Construction Plans, great tips and helpful greenhouse gardening content from sources all over the web.

Nearly two years ago, I decided that eating meat was not for me, so I became a vegetarian.  This happened almost overnight.  One day while I was at work on my lunch break, I was surfing the web and I remember reading a blog post about one of my favorite childhood bands, Crowded House, when I noticed an advertising banner on the side of the page.  It said, “If You’ve Got Guts, then You’ll Watch This!”  So me being me, thinking I had “guts”,  watched this video that literally turned my gut in knots…  It was about the way animals are processed, right from the farm to your fridge.  It was not so much about the animal being killing that disturbed me.  Sure, I care about that, but what really got me was the condition of the animals we are eating.  Seriously, if you had of seen this you would be always left wondering about the physical condition of the animal you were eating.  In fact, I would say you would not eat a lot of the animals if you saw the mangy, stinking looking things when they were alive!!  Anyway, to save you from a long story, from that day on I have eaten only veggies.

So what is the point of all that?  Well for the past couple of years, I have been appalled at the lack of quality produce available and now I really want to start growing my own organic veggies at home, but I have 3 problems:

1/. I don’t have enough space at my home for a decent size Greenhouse and as at the time of writing this, I did not know exactly what was involved.

2/. I lived in rental property

3/. I didn’t have a clue about how to grow vegetables

So to all of those people who want to know more about building greenhouses and growing a garden full of yummy stuff,  I will post the content as I learn it here.
